Sr. Marketing Manager
Reporting to VP of Marketing, the Sr. Marketing Manager hire will play a critical leadership role in the growth of the company. S/he will be responsible for all events, tradeshows, partner marketing and customer marketing, and be accountable for opportunity creation targets. In addition, s/he will play a lead role in driving customer testimonials and case studies, and drive all marketing and customer acquisition for our Small Business solution (PowerReviews Express).
Beyond the core responsibilities, this individual has the opportunity to expand their scope to other areas such as content creation, social media and PR. We're a small team and there's no upper limit on your impact.
We are seeking an individual who is results-oriented, innovative and has a passion for driving marketing and sales results. This individual will have a broad marketing skill-set, including: project management, metrics-orientation, design sensitivity, writing skills and proficiency with marketing automation.
This is a hands-on marketing position requiring someone who is a self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. S/he should also be comfortable working collaboratively with different teams and executive stakeholders in the company on multiple, concurrent projects.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage all industry tradeshows, partner events and PowerReviews-hosted events.
• Measure and track opportunity creation and maturation through all events.
• Effectively allocate a significant percentage of the company marketing budget, continuously seeking opportunities for improved impact.
• Be accountable for monthly opportunity-creation targets; work closely with Sales Operations and Market Development Reps.
• Drive Partner Marketing efforts through joint go-to-market initiatives.
• Deliver training to partner sales organizations, working closely with the channel team.
• Manage all customer marketing activities, from sourcing nominees through testimonial and case study completion, working closely with Client Success, Sales and Product Marketing.
• Drive all marketing and customer acquisition for PowerReviews Express.
• Develop effective presentations that tell a compelling story.
• Utilize Marketo to develop pre- and post-event email programs.
• Manage internal and external resources, such as Marketing Coordinators, to achieve maximum impact.
• Write periodic blog posts and participate in the company's social media activities.
Qualifications
• 5-7 years of experience in B2B SaaS/software marketing management.
• Creative, entrepreneurial thinker and risk-taker with a positive attitude.
• Experience running industry tradeshows, company-hosted events.
• Experience running partner marketing events – both customer-facing and sales-facing.
• Proficiency with Marketo and Salesforce.com
• Strong writing and story-telling skills.
• Strong public speaking and PowerPoint skills.
• Extensive experience working with B2B sales forces, including Inside Sales follow-up on leads created.
• Ability to be self-motivated and deliver projects on time with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Experience running online campaigns desirable but not required.
• Experience in SaaS strongly desired but not required.
• Active, current blogging and social media participation desirable but not required.
