About the Role

The Senior Manager of Web Analytics and Testing will be responsible for maintaining McAfee's web analytics implementation on a global basis. This requires setting measurement strategies, managing the vendor relationship, conducting on-going testing, and interfacing internally with all stakeholders to keep informed and on track.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategy
Will drive McAfee's Global analytics and testing strategy. Primary focus is on consumer acquisition process, but a secondary supporting role for business lead generation tracking.

Tactics
Responsible for weekly calls with web analytics vendor, training users on creation of dashboards and reports, ad-hoc analysis to drive answers to strategic questions like "what is most effective and driving new users?"

Operations
Carry out the day-to-day activities required to maintain and optimize the global consumer websites. These activities will range from daily maintenance to delivering online support for new products.

Reporting & Analysis
Regularly execute a thorough analysis of various actions pertaining to the McAfee Global Consumer websites with the goal to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations to improve user experience and conversion.

Alignment
Ensure McAfee websites are aligned with the defined business objectives including acquisition channels, product and any other areas of the business that are relevant. This role will be in close alignment with internal stakeholders and McAfee Consumer's routes to market.

Other
Mentor staff on developing benchmark criteria for measuring online metrics through usage of most actionable KPIs, A/B and multivariate testing, and segmentation in the web space. Collaborate with IT and partner agencies on the deployment of the Omniture web analytics toolset across multiple websites, including contributing to requirements needed to support evolving state of web analytics across the company. Collaborate with vendors and internal client eMarketing support teams to develop ways to measure the success of digital initiatives


Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of related work experience, preferably with online sales responsibility
• Thorough knowledge of reporting tools. Hands-on experience with Omniture toolset preferred.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in managing web operations
• Demonstrated experience driving measurable sales results through customer marketing efforts in an e-commerce environment
• Ability to define opportunities and problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and make valid conclusions
• Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a hands-on/execution capacity (detail-oriented, conscientious) as well as a strategic capacity (asks "why")
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, be detail-oriented and work independently as well as in groups.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
• Strong track record in online corresponding ROI analyses
• Focused creativity with the objective of problem solving
• Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple balls, organize & prioritize
• Ability to work and react quickly, in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter, who can get up to speed quickly
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Passion for the online marketing space with a solid understanding of interactive marketing channels (search, online media, website development, etc.) and brand marketing principles
