Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Vertical Marketing/Marketing Communications Manager for our client located in San Jose, CA. This consultant will develop and manage programs in support of enterprise and mid-market video solutions. The assignment entails the development and creation of marketing materials to support product launches and vertical marketing materials targeting education, healthcare and public-sector marketplaces.

The Marketing/MarCom manager will interface with Product Managers and Vertical Segment Marketing Managers in the development of product messaging, product naming, marketing collateral, website communications, and video communications in support of product launches for video solutions.
Working with Product Managers and Vertical Segment Marketing Managers, they will collaborate on the development of content and manage the review and refinement cycles through the corporate editing team and external agency teams. In addition, they will partner with the video solution Marketing Manager to create the marketing strategy for the video family of products.
We are looking for consultants who are creative and have demonstrated leadership ability. To be successful in this role, the Marketing/MarCom manager must possess strong project management skills and have the ability to successfully coordinate and deliver multiple initiatives. Collaboration with internal clients is a significant part of this role, as campaigns developed for enterprise and mid-market video solutions must be reviewed with education, healthcare and public-sector teams to assure alignment with business goals.

Skills:

* 7 â€" 10 years of high-tech marketing experience required, including B2B marketing strategy development for at least one large company
* Demonstrated success in developing product messaging, product naming, collateral, website communications, and video production in support of product launches (Solid samples of prior work are a BIG PLUS)
* Experience targeting education, healthcare and/or public-sector vertical segments preferred, but not required
* Proven ability to integrate the elements of a cohesive marketing program and prioritize initiatives in support of customer segmentation goals
* Creative thinker; flexible and adaptable; open to new ideas and confident in bringing ideas to cross-functional teams
* Self-driven, proactive, goal-oriented individual; ability to integrate productively with a very fast-paced, “start-up” style team
* Directly manage projects and lead cross-functional teams in the review, refinement and delivery of marketing executables
* Solid writing skills and strong project management skills
* Knowledge of video technologies is not required; however, familiarity marketing technology products is highly preferred
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills â€" both written and verbal
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related field

Rate: $2000/week as a w2 employee of Crawford Group

Location: 30% offsite/flexible, 70% onsite at client’s location in San Jose, CA. Other team members in Europe and on the East coast will require availability during very early morning hours.

Hours/duration: Full time, January 9, 2012- ongoing
