Title: Communications Project Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 mos+
We are currently looking for a senior communications consultant with combination of Strategic and Tactical skills. The project involves campaign project management and execution. Must be a strong writer and has worked in a Sr. communications role.
In this capacity, you will support communication activities as well as be engaged in a wide range of special projects. The successful candidate will collaborate and partner with variety of different areas across the organization.
Required qualifications:
- Require BS/BA degree in communications, marketing or related fields; masters preferred
- 8+ years communications experience in corporate environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills; able to operate effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to synthesize complex, technical information into simplified, value add communications
- Ability to develop consolidated and consistent messaging to functional audiences and communications team
- Familiarity with best practices for virtual, written, and face to face communication approaches
- Solid presentation development, PowerPoint skills, and background in graphics highly desired
- Well-organized, detail oriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility in changing situations and ability to meet deadlines
- Previous experience working with senior executives highly desired
Responsibilities to include:
- Execute communications strategy for internal and external audiences
- Presentation development for All Hands, Ops Reviews
- Create and write presentations concerning strategies, details, business plans, operations reviews, stakeholder meetings, external forums, quarterly all hands updates, and other various projects
- Assist in message development, alignment and consistency
- Ensuring functional teams are in synch on communications strategy, execution plan, and resulting deliverables
- Drive development and updating of central organization information portal
