Required Skills & Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred, but not required
•A minimum of four years of accounting experience including working knowledge of monthly accounting reporting, reconciliations and accruals, human resources and payroll processing
•Some supervisory experience
•Experience preparing and submitting reporting to the SEC (for a public company) is preferred, but not required
•Ability to perform analytics and to identify and provide solutions for variances
•Ability to manage cash flow
•Advanced working knowledge of Quickbooks and Excel
•Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of employees/departments
•Ability to multitask and work independently, with minimal oversight
•Strategic thinker with ability to comprehend and evaluate risk to a small business
•Able to work under pressure within a small business environment
•Experience presenting information to a board of directors and/or investors
