Title: Event Project Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 mos+ (renewable per quarter)
You will be a part of a team responsible for designing, developing and delivering corporate events, trade shows and online broadcasts targeting customers, prospects and influencers with the goal of driving business results.
Specific duties/responsibilities:
- Manage meeting notes and communicate timelines and deliverables
- Accountable for developing and managing specific project timelines
- Budget management and reconciliation support
- Oversee vendor engagements and vendor deliverables
- Speaker and staff coordination, when applicable
- Post show/event reporting support
- Onsite assistance
- Manage and/or support Executive meetings, coordinating w/ vendor
- Support registration testing websites/registration flows
- Coordinate kick-off and pre-show meetings
- Evaluation support coordinate with appropriate vendor/GME
Skills Required:
- 5-7 years experience in Corporate Events and Project Management
- Very good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Word; Basic understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail, Creative in problem solving
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Team oriented and flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Willing to travel
