Ideal candidate is a market research expert and self-starter with strong analytical skills who loves working with data and is passionate about developing research-driven insights and turning them into actionable recommendations. Must have strong leadership and management skills, exhibit strong attention to detail, multi-task effectively, , take initiative, have a bias toward action and work well both independently and collaboratively. Must be able to lead cross-functional teams to work together towards a common goal, keeping the team focused on the critical path and key project objectives.
Responsibilities include
Owning the market research roadmap for one or more product or brand areas of focus
Being the point-person for the partnership between MRI and one or more internal client teams
Providing thought leadership to internal teams, acting as the voice of the consumer
Leading end-to-end study design, execution and delivery of action-oriented insights, including:
o Study design
o Project RFP
o Questionnaire development
o Managing vendors and survey fielding, including but not limited to online testing, status updates
o Data analysis and report preparation
o Presenting research findings in a clear, concise and actionable way
o Partnering with internal clients to develop actions plans based on research findings
Handling ad hoc data requests
Synthesizing information from multiple sources across syndicated and primary research projects to deliver a holistic view of a topic area
Managing project schedules and budgets
Providing guidance and support to junior staff
Education and Experience Requirements
BA or BS or higher in a research or quantitative field, with at least 6 years relevant work experience
Strong analytical skills and instincts, with excellent attention to detail
Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic, demanding environment
Experience with SPSS
Prior eCommerce experience a plus
