The Role: Senior Accountant
The Location: Webster, TX (Southeast Houston)
Due to growth, IDEV Technologies Inc., an innovator and developer of next generation medical devices, is hiring a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller and is responsible for cost accounting, reporting and analysis, the accounts payable process and time and expense reporting.​
The Senior Accountant is responsible for all aspects of expenses/costs for IDEV. This includes inventory cost, accounts payable, and travel & entertainment. On a daily basis, they will monitor inventory job costing and manufacturing variances, analyze and resolve issues with variances and updates standard costs, and perform all aspects of accounts payable and travel and expenses. On a monthly basis they will assist with the recording, reporting, and analysis of accruals for inventory and other expense related accounts.
Required Skills & Experience:•You have a bachelor's degree iin accounting or finance
•You have 4-6 years of general accounting experience with at least 1 year experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
•You have worked in an ERP system
•You are an Excel expert
•You are highly analytical and possess keen problem solving skills
•You have meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
•You have a strong ability to communicate and work effectively with all internal departments
•You have the ability to work independently and multi- task
