Lead Generation Specialist
Located in Mountain View, CA
CPP's is looking for a Lead Generation Specialist to execute telephone follow up and qualification of leads and prospects for the US Sales Team via outbound calling efforts. This position is responsible for the initial qualification of inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns, web activity, events, certification programs, etc. The Lead Generation Specialist will determine appropriate next steps for these leads, such as sending to Marketing for nurturing, forwarding to Regional Sales Teams or continuing to work the lead.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
• Qualify and process inbound leads according to established business rules
• Forward qualified leads to the correct sales person based on region and criteria. Direct Sales will continue the sales interaction with the objective of advancing the buyer through the sales process and ultimately generating a sale
• Update contact information for all existing accounts with the latest information captured during lead qualification process
• Identify, initiate and nurture relationships both over the phone and via email
• Provide reports as needed to show lead generation and/or qualification metrics
• Track and organize leads to ensure timely follow-up by region for achieving the desired results
• Perform sales database and record keeping activities
• Keep current on product features, advantages, benefits, and selling points for effective communication and needs diagnosis during qualification process
• Support continued process improvement of the lead management system and actively participate in developing lead follow up plans for key campaigns
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years inside sales experience and/or experience with cold calling and lead generation or sales qualifying experience
• High level of comfort with in-bound as well as out-bound phone sales
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills; excellent listener, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding time management skills; self-managed and self- motivated
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-channel, team-selling environment
• Desire to be part of a team environment, where interaction with inside sales professionals and marketing personnel is necessary to achieve sales goals
• Demonstrated expertise with CRM technology; Salesforce.com experience preferred
• The ability to accept and handle objections appropriately
• Willingness to master deep CPP product knowledge
