Sales Development Representative - Work Early Hours - Start at 6AM
Alameda Headquarters Location
Develop and qualify new sales prospects within a specific geographic territory, in particular, the Eastern United States. If starting at 6am and having time for other activities in the afternoon fits your lifestyle, perhaps this job is right for you.
Candidate will be focused on exceeding goals set out for this role as a first step to becoming a qualified inside Account Executive (Inside Sales Representative).
Responsibilities:
· Participate in a team-selling environment focused on the successful identification and qualification of new opportunities for the Inside Sales and Field Sales force.
· Work closely with regional teams to ensure consistent communication around territory development.
· Exceed quarterly lead generation targets by following up and qualifying accounts and contacts identified by marketing efforts.
· Take ownership and responsibility for pre-pipeline development, lead generation, prospecting and account nurturing.
· Track and coordinate all inbound inquiries within a defined territory from promotions, the Internet, special events, and inbound calls.
· Execute daily outbound sales functions specifically designed to generate quality leads. You will be measured on quantity of leads generated versus the monthly quota as well as the quality of leads generated measured against pipeline and closed business and contact levels reached within the prospective account.
· Maintain appropriate levels of involvement in on-going sales campaigns once leads have been transitioned to sales. You will be measured on accuracy and thoroughness of prospect data supplied to sales as well as close rate.
· Cultivate and run deal opportunities to point of field engagement. Track lead to deal closure.
· Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal Sales Force Automation tool.
Requirements:
· 1-3 years of success generating leads and qualifying potential customers for a software company
· High energy level
· Good organizational skills and attention to detail
· A highly motivated professional with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
· A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
· Excellent telesales experience and telephone skills—fearless, tenacious and passionate about sales
· Demonstrated success establishing and cultivating business relationships with proven success in penetrating new markets and developing new business.
· Works well in a team environment and able to work toward revenue goals.
· A general understanding of embedded software development in a real time operating system environment is a plus.
· BA/BS is strongly preferred
