Position Overview:
Channel impact is seeking a full time channel field marketing manager to join our clients marketing team within their global technical organization to provide expert project management leadership for field marketing programs.
In this role you will be responsible for driving complex, multi-track projects focused on our Client's largest partners.

This is a W2 opportunity at Channel impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage multiple inter-dependencies, deadlines and dynamic characteristics unique to the project
• Apply a disciplined project management approach that assigns accountabilities, intermediate deadlines, monitoring of progress and status and ensures on-time delivery of project tasks and deliverables.
• Effectively manage contributors' input and stakeholder expectations. Hold team members accountable for their contributions
• Manage overall project track risks, issues escalation and problem resolution
• Lead weekly meetings with a defined agenda geared towards activity completion
• Manage expectations, commitments, agreements and next steps to ensure the entire group understands ownership and action items
• Develop timelines and publish project plans, details and updates whenever necessary
• Communicate project updates to program manager and management team members on a regular basis.
• Manage and/or develop as necessary robust project plan for delivery of playbooks, demand generation projects, & webinars
• Use established project management templates to ensure structured project management and monitor:
- maintain the accuracy and integrity of the project plan and ensure reporting is kept up to date/reflects the reality of work in progress
- proactively control the project schedule and manage discrepancies, report potential slippages, analyze impacts and devise solutions
- proactively identify and manage risks, issues and actions, driving to timely completion
- provide overall project task, risk, issue, milestone achievement and progress status
- collaborate with other team members to ensure the proactive and timely resolution of plan, dependency, risk and issue discrepancies
- define and report on critical metrics to continually drive improvements and provide status/visibility
- collect lessons learned and ideas for continuous improvement as project proceed
• Post-mortem review(s) to include productivity and process improvement recommendations


Skill Sets
• Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 5+ years related experience
• Prior experience in the high tech industry is a plus
• Experience working with Dimension data is a plus
• Experience working with channel sales organizations
• Solid understanding of partner business models
• Strong marketing background with responsibilities for multiple, broad based marketing initiatives.
• Comfortable managing multiple tracks, leading meetings and driving agenda/content
• Works independently and leads teams to complete projects and major initiatives using judgment and experience.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrates deep understanding of deadlines/priorities and all their implications
• Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Solid PowerPoint skills, able to present well at senior management level
• Familiar with MS Project (or similar project management applications) and Excel to manage the project tracks
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• PMP certification or other formal training in project management or have very strong work experience if no formal training in PM
