Our client seeks a Sr SEO Manager to contribute to our rapid growth by driving
search engine traffic through ongoing optimization efforts.
You must be passionate about search engine optimization and keep up on the
latest changes in order to learn and experiment with new strategies. This
position reports directly to the CMO of a well funded startup in San Francisco
Job Description:
The SEO Manager will be responsible for search engine optimization strategy and
performance. The SEO Mgr will define and develop a comprehensive SEO strategy
and manage the implementation of SEO tactics through cross-functional teams.
The SEO manager must have deep experience in social media and understand how to
leverage social media to drive SEO results. The SEO leader will be responsible
for building and managing a network of key vendors and partners to deliver SEO
results.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement SEO strategies, including (but not limited to) keyword
research, content optimization and link building.
Monitor and track SEO programs using Google Analytics and other tools to provide
benchmark and tracking reports on SEO position, traffic, conversions and other
metrics.
4 + years SEO experience with a track record of success (preferably with a
large content site.)
Excellent understanding of SEO techniques and strategies.
Knowledge of technical aspects of SEO, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash,
AJAX, URL structures, keyword analysis, content optimization, search engine
spiders, indexes and algorithms.
Proficient with web analytics tools and their use with measuring SEO success.
• Experience working with multiple partners to implement best in class tracking
and content solution.
