Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Creative Services Traffic Manager for our tech client located in Santa Cruz. The successful consultant will manage the creative services workflow process from request through delivery, tracking and distributing workload to both internal creative resources and external/vendor resources. The Creative Services Traffic Manager will communicate the Creative Services process and requirements to internal stakeholders and teams. They will manage, train and mentor consultants, internal resources and external/vendor resources to understand and adhere to the Creative Services system/processes. We are looking for a heads-up individual with honesty, integrity and commitment to delivering excellent Creative output on behalf of our client. Candidates should have solid experience in a similar role and a proven track record assessing, assigning and delivering creative projects.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor incoming Creative Work Requests (CWRs) on a daily basis; work with internal designers to assess and assign work to creative teams
* Ensure incoming job requests contain the information and assets needed to assign the CWR and follow up with requestor as necessary
* Attend regular meetings with design team to assess workload on an ongoing basis
* Work closely with creative teams to balance workload
* Keep all creative projects moving smoothly to completion
* Keep creative teams apprised of project priorities and due dates, and expedite and prioritize rush projects accordingly
* Keep all informed of conflicts, delays or any other unusual situations
* Advocate for appropriate timelines of projects and obtain deadline extensions when necessary
* Enforce adherence to work-flow processes, Brand guidelines and deadlines
* Collaborate with team on process improvement and to improve traffic system and project management process
* Maintain workload data for monthly and quarterly metric output
* Promote smooth workflow and communication between departments
Skills:
* 7 - 10 years experience as a mid-level or senior traffic manager for creative services organizations
* Successful operations experience in a marketing and/or creative services organization
* EXPERT Excel skills + proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite programs
* Adobe Acrobat proficiency is required
* Proven experience working in a Creative department
* Proven experience assessing workload and assigning resources
* Must have people management experience and be comfortable driving and managing a creative team
* Looking for an individual who is extremely detail oriented and able to develop and track to timelines
* BA degree + Creative Services/Agency/Traffic experience
Rate: D.O.E. as a w2 employee of Crawford Group
Location: 75% onsite at client offices in Santa Cruz, CA 25% offsite/remote
Hours/Duration: Full time, ASAP- ongoing
