Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Marketing Communications consultant with expertise in Service Provider (SP) technology or Mobile solutions for a full time, short-term assignment with our client, Cisco. The consultant will be responsible for leading the strategic integration and execution of marketing communications campaigns and programs to increase customer acquisition and generate awareness, relevance and demand for Cisco's Service Provider Mobile solutions. The ideal consultant is a marcom generalist with the ability to effectively lead programs within a highly matrix, global team environment. This assignment begins immediately and goes through January 2013.
Responsibilities may include:
Develop and implement Mobile solution integrated marketing communications strategy and plan to optimize the customer experience
Influence the Service Provider Mobile marcom program mix of deliverables to support solution launches
Facilitate integrated marcom programs/deliverables including web, collateral, live and online/virtual events, online-advertising, social media, direct marketing and video
Establish program metrics, track customer behaviors/trends, market intelligence and targeted data
Must be able to quickly grasp the essence of programs, determine urgency and impact, build the communications plan including the vehicles and coinciding schedule
Skills:
6 to 7 years' experience in a Marcom role
Proven experience working with cross-functional, worldwide team members
Strong program/project management capabilities to span multiple, concurrent projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively influence senior leaders and leadership teams
Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills
Ability to balance quality of work with deadlines, in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture
Ability to identify risk issues affecting work progress and to recommend solutions
Cisco experience preferred for quick ramp up
Networking or Service Provider or Mobile technology experience is preferred
RATE: D.O.E as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 20% offsite and 80% onsite at our client's offices in San Jose, CA
HOURS/DURATION: Full-time Starting October 29 through January 2013
