The Sage Group is looking for a Customer Retention Marketing Program Manager to work for a large bank in Walnut Creek, CA. This person will work in the Merchant Services group and will be responsible for effectively managing programs that increase customer satisfaction, retention, and drive revenue. The ideal candidate has deep direct marketing experience with knowledge of customer retention programs.

CONTR: Customer Retention Marketing Program Manager - 5639

Responsibilities Include:

- Help develop strategy, ensure flawless execution of programs, and define success metrics and analyze performance.

- Own education, servicing, and other communication programs, including compliance with card payment network mandates and new laws, pricing, product introductions or changes, credit/risk, and operations.

- Enhance existing retention programs while utilizing a Test & Learn approach with new programs.

- Develop strategy, coordinate business case, present to management for approval, and execute.

- Manage and improve the event triggered email program to drive added value to customers.

- Test social media channels for existing customers for servicing and value-add experiences.

- Leverage direct mail, email, outbound call, statement, IVR, broadcast messaging, and other channels to create effective and cost-efficient programs.

- Manage timelines for the execution of various communication projects and programs.

- Provide data-driven, analysis-based recommendations to develop business cases, which include targeting criteria, financial analysis, scalability assessment, and projected performance.

Skills Required:

- 4+ years of customer marketing program management experience

- 3+ years of experience with direct mail/email marketing, including complex mailings or multiple target audience segments per program

- 2+ years of experience in credit or debit card, merchant card processing, payments, or financial services

- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple assignments in a fast paced environment

- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Skills Preferred:

- 2+ years of experience with positioning, writing, and editing marketing/customer communication copy

- Knowledge of targeted marketing and customer segmentation

- Experience creating business cases and making presentations using PowerPoint

- Working knowledge of Access

- Budget management experience

- MBA
