POSITION – JUNIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
DURATION – 6 MONTHS +
LOCATION – SAN JOSE, CA
TYPE – CONTRACT
High visibility opportunity for a team oriented Junior Financial Analyst responsible for key trending analytics, business intelligence, and partner collaboration given evolving pricing strategies and programs that affect a global network of distribution partners.
The position provides financial analysis support around product and service pricing, discounts, and standard margins through the distribution channel; ii) financial analysis/trouble shooting details around bookings, discounts, revenue, shipments, and credit memos; and i) enhancing operational efficiencies and finding opportunities to better equip management in driving sales programs through discounting programs.
Experience:
• Financial and Operational Reporting and Analytics
• Experience in operations, marketing, sales and reporting
• Communications: Clear and concise messaging to technical, as well as management audiences.
Education:
• BS degree and 3 years of related experience;
Strong Technical Skills Required:
• Reporting Tools – Business Objects 6.5
• Spreadsheet Tools – MS Excel skills (expert)
• Database Tools – MS Access / SQL Server (helpful)
Organizational "Fit" Considerations:
• Strong Communication Skills
• Self-motivated; positive attitude; team oriented.
• International Work Experience
• Independent worker
