The Sage Group is seeking a Project Manager - Reseller Operations to work for a leading electronics company in Silicon Valley. This individual will manage complex, global initiatives that span across Sales, Operations, and Finance to define, build and roll-out innovative technology and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, and drive revenue.
CONTR: Project Manager - Reseller Operations - 5614
Responsibilities include:
- Work with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to define, build and roll-out innovative technology and business process solutions that increase efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, and drive revenue.
- Oversee complex projects to major milestones. Develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates; obtain executive approval and funding.
- Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success.
- Gather and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and design specifications.
- Assess current and develop and implement future business processes. Apply analytical skills to rationalize change.
- Implement new ideas within the company culture effectively by influencing decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach.
- Manage complex projects to major milestones, develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates.
- Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, and post-mortem work.
- Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to senior teams.
- Measure and track results and achieve business benefit.
- Act as the liaison between technical and business teams to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of project/process management
- Strong familiarity with operational processes, systems and data, in areas related to channel operations management – sales forecasting, inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery
- Demonstrated success leading strategic projects combined with the ability to execute tactical project-level activities and tasks
- Experience as a change agent and effectively implementing change in a large, cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
