Marketing Communications Contractor
Medical Device
Our client is a well-funded Peninsula medical device startup that is looking for a contractor to help develop and implement the marketing communications strategy.
This position is a 3 days week assignment, but more hours may be added as required.
This position requires experience in medical device marketing and 5+ years of marketing communications experience.
Areas of responsibility are tradeshow and event planning & managing; development of sales tools and collateral; and creation of both internal and external promotional items.
Additional areas of responsibilities are social media, website, field and customer education and training as well as physician corporate visits. Database management will also a part of this position. Responsible to interface on the company's behalf with physicians and 3rd party vendors. May be small amount of travel.
Requires experience in medical device marketing and 5+ years of experience in marketing communications. BA/BS degree required. Start-up experience desired, not required.
This position requires a professional who understands rolling up your sleeves to assist in all areas, and someone who can multi-task and work with a sense of urgency.
Strong written, oral and presentation communications skills required.
