Description
The Sage Group is looking for a Marketing Communications Strategist, to work for a leading networking and security company in Silicon Valley. This consultant will work closely with our client's marketing communication team to execute a communication strategy for their organization. This includes strategy, planning, execution, positioning, messaging and cross departmental marketing communication integration and agency management to drive results.
Responsibilities Include:
- Establish communication rhythm of business and release calendar aligned to meet business objectives.
- Work collaboratively with 20-25 internal marketing team members to orchestrate the alignment of marketing messages.
- Work with corporate marketing to review templates and make sure the marketing messages are well aligned to the company brand.
- Create a consistent cadence for communications to sales including, but not limited to: performance, campaign, program updates and go to action items.
- Write, edit, review marketing content as appropriate.
Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience working in a Director level marketing communications role for an enterprise level company
- Ability to develop marketing communication strategy and drive the plan through to execution
- Proven success with measuring and tracking the effectiveness of marketing communications among various audiences
-Ability to work through obstacles, drive for accountability to achieve measureable results
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com
Skills Preferred
- Some prior experience in the networking products and solutions space
Timing: 9+ months, 20-30 hours per week
