We are looking for a Marketing Events Assistant for a contractor role at a global enterprise solutions company. The role will be based in Santa Clara, CA. The Marketing Events Assistant will be responsible for supporting customer and partner events. Specific tasks will include event invitations, registrations, logistics, communications, metrics tracking and reporting.
This is a 20 hours per week role onsite at the client´s offices in Santa Clara, CA for a
3-month period, with extensions likely. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions´ employee.
Responsibilities:
. Assist Events Marketing Managers on daily operations and tactics for Industry and Alliance events
. Work within the limits of the budget and other approved funding sources
. Implement end-to-end event specific marketing programs with Field Marketing at the local level - to support acquisition of and nurturing for customer interest, including direct mail, email, online techniques.
. Update marketing events calendar on all internal communication and social media sources.
. Responsible for production and logistical issues such as collateral & giveaways development and inventory
. Drive post event research and attendee survey process
. Document Events results and conduct /publish post analysis/ evaluation
Requirements:
. 1-2 years marketing experience in an events or marketing role
. Extreme attention to detail
. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint; Skilled at creating presentations and graphics.
. Strong analytical and organizational skills
. Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams.
. Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
. Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
. AA or BA in marketing, communication, or related area of study
