We will focus on building our brands, gaining market share, increasing our capacity and velocity as well as expanding into new growth vectors (e.g., international).

We expect this investment to grow significantly over time as we pursue new growth initiatives.  Accordingly, the Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will be expected to identify and attract the top talent needed to ensure we meet our vision for the business.

 

Role Profile

The Weather Company’s Global Talent Acquisition team is looking for a seasoned Recruiter to join our team. The Talent Acquisition organization focuses on three primary functional disciplines: talent sourcing, candidate development and client management. The role of the Recruiter is to effectively attract and manage a best-in-class talent pipeline, with a focus on providing an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

 

Responsibilities

•  Build strong, credible relationships with hiring managers. Become a consultative partner by understanding their current business goals and deliverables and designing a tailored sourcing strategy and recruiting process around their specific needs. Provide training/coaching for interview team on behavioral interview techniques.

•  Identify diverse, top-level talent through aggressive sourcing methods, which include Internet research, networking, direct sourcing, employee referrals, advertisements, career events, associations, and other sources as needed.

•  Conduct thorough screening and interview selection process that follows company guidelines and meets legal requirements

•  Build and present appropriate reports that influence a client’s hiring plans and educate them around recruiting progress and market trends.

•  Manage appropriate candidate tracking and reporting to ensure compliance with OFCCP and EEOC guidelines.

 

Requirements

•  BA/BS degree in Business, HR or related field required. Applicable progressive experience in HR may be considered in lieu of education.

•  10+ years of progressive recruitment experience required.

•  Demonstrated expertise sourcing, recruiting and placing talent from a multi-source pipeline including internal candidates, Internet sourcing, networking, direct application, and cold calling methodologies.

•  Expert knowledge in full lifecycle recruitment, including thorough pre-qualification screening, interviewing and closing professional level candidates across multiple levels and disciplines.

•  Strong client focus with superior communications and negotiation skills.

•  Understanding of labor market shifts and influencers

•  Identifying, understanding, and adapting outstanding practices and processes from other organizations to help improve performance.

•  Proficiency in analyzing existing processes to identify gaps and inconsistencies that hinder effectiveness and efficiency, and ability to make recommendations and implement solutions that will improve overall process performance.

•  Knowledgeable in counseling and coaching principles and ability to motivate candidates and provide appropriate direction and advice that may impact career decisions.

•  Establishing, building, and maintaining professional relationships with peers, leadership, candidates and clients to provide business solutions, facilitate the development of business opportunities, and support individual.

•  Solid knowledge of legal issues and requirements of employee labor laws, ensuring the organization develops appropriate policies and implements systems that comply.
