The Sage Group is looking for a Portfolio Manager – Dodd Frank to work for a leading financial services company in the East Bay. The role will oversee and manage a company-wide regulation implementation of Dodd Frank regulations and associated processes.
CONTRACT: Portfolio Manager- Dodd Frank -5633
Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the implementation lead on Dodd Frank regulations throughout the bank and/or vendors providing service or support to their organization.
- Develop a formalized process that ensures that all approved projects follow standardized procedures that will oversee project requests, feasibility analysis, cost/resource management, scheduling, project performance management and reporting.
- Provide support to other unit/departments with senior management with their organization to coordinate activities to ensure successful implementation of business processes.
- Manage a team of project managers, business analyst and corporate and local compliance officers.
- Performs complex analysis on functions and products as requested by senior executive management making recommendations for implementation that maximizes efficiency and productivity, providing supporting documentation for final recommendations.
Skills Required:
- 10+ years of experience managing broad scope projects in a banking environment
- Extensive knowledge of banking products and services
- Knowledge of mortgage operations
- Strong project management skills with experience managing teams at various level of management
- Knowledge of accounting, budgeting,and forecasting/reporting
- Organizational change process management experience
- Strong understanding of systems applications within the banking industry
Skills Preferred:
- Experience working with mortgage business lines or divisions
- Master's/Advanced Degree
Timing: Temp to perm or (1.5-2 year duration)
Start: ASAP
Location: East Bay, (must be willing to travel to Omaha 50%-75%)
