The Sage Group is seeking a Process Documenting Consultant to work for a large multinational company that is a leading innovator and designer of consumer electronics and software products in Silicon Valley. This person will take a body of documentation and create a standard document that has a consistent voice and clear organization.
CONTR: Business Process Documenting Consultant 5611
Responsibilities Include
- Gather business process documentation from several business groups and create one document that combines them all in a standard format.
- Manage, plan, and organize project activities, including schedules, milestones, and status reports.
- Drive critical timelines.
- Conduct weekly project meetings.
- Develop and maintain issues logs to ensure accountability to the resolution of key issues.
- Write formal business documentation to capture operations business processes.
- Led brainstorming sessions to gather process details.
Skills Required
- 4+ years of documentation/writing experience with a high tech company
- Proficient with documentation aspects of business processes
- Experience with order fulfillment
- Proven ability to address issues and manage deadlines in high pressure, tight timeline constraint
- Detailed critical thinking capabilities with the ability to deep dive into data layers to sift through information to find issues
- Ability to create processes from a business need or issue
- Knowledge of project management methodology
- Literacy in Omnigraffle
- Familiar with business process flow diagramming
Skills Preferred
- PMI/PMP certification
Timing: 3+ months, 40 hours (5 days)
