Entry Level - Sales Development Rep Opportunity (some experience required)
New College Grad – Some Experience Required – Location: Alameda, CA
Exciting sales position with a leading device software company located in the Bay Area. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for developing and qualifying new sales prospects within targeted device manufacturing companies within a specific geographic territory. This role will focus on setting appointments as well as qualifying leads in addition to meeting daily activity goals as set by management.

Responsibilities:
• Qualify leads and set appointments for Corporate Account Executives and Account Managers in a specific region.
• Make 50+ outbound calls a day to targeted prospects
• Follow up on inbound inquiries for specific campaigns
• Work closely with regional teams to ensure consistent communication throughout territory.
• Track lead to deal closure within CRM system and through communications with inside and field sales teams.
• Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal CRM application (Siebel) Sales Force Automation tool.
Requirements:
• 1-2 years experience interfacing with customers and a track record of success in previous sales oriented position, preferably within high-tech
• High energy level
• Excellent oral and written communication skills a must
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• A highly self-motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent telephone skills—fearless, tenacious and passionate about sales with a personal drive to further career as an Account Executive (Inside Sales)
• An ability to grasp basic concepts of embedded software development in a real time operating system environment is a plus.
• New College Graduate
