Title: Production Technician/Event Center Representative
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 1yr+ (renewed quarterly)
-Able to work a flexible schedule including regular nights and weekends
Consults with clients and Producers to execute and support multifaceted meetings, conferences and special events in the TV Event and Conference Centers. Client focused with a hybrid role for physical set-up and event planning/execution.
Required Skills:
? Candidate must be organized, outgoing, efficient, able to take direction and multi-task oriented
? Establish and maintain positive working relationships across Clients, TV staff, freelancers, and vendors
? Skilled at handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
? Able to work a flexible schedule including regular nights and weekends
? Able to operate equipment, stage manage and address technical needs during events
? Responsible for physically setting up chairs, tables, furniture, staging, pipe and drape, audio/visual, video production and computer equipment
? Schedule resources with TV database software
? Accountable for opening and lock-up of facility
? Manage programs independently
? Exhibit quick and responsive problem solving both in meetings and onsite management
? Work with clients to schedule and support their event objectives overseeing logistics, planning and execution
? Arrange audio/visual, production and staging for meetings and events
? Vendor management skills with external vendors
? Excellent people and communication skills ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment
? Demonstrate strong organizational, follow-through and time management skills
? Can do attitude with the drive to do more!
