Overview
Tintrí is looking for a top-notch Online Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing Marketing team. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and Demand Generation, with broad responsibility over content distribution and syndication, placement, and customer acquisition through multiple channels (paid search, email, social media, etc.). This role provides the opportunity for an exceptional individual to drive meaningful growth at one of the most visionary companies in the technology industry.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing online content distribution strategies to drive customer acquisition. This position is key to Tintrí growth and will be responsible for the top-to-bottom management and execution of online content distribution through multiple media channels. This position is based in our Mountain View, CA headquarters.
The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of online marketing, ideally in the B2B space, with a strong background in customer acquisition strategies, digital content distribution, and data analysis. The candidate should also possess knowledge of B2B sales cycles and an expert-level understanding of driving engagement and lead generation through multiple media channels. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of the content distribution process including creation of campaign messaging and content, the use of email, search, and social media for placement, lead nurturing and marketing automation, creative testing, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a business owner of Tintrí content distribution, syndication, and customer acquisition activities through email marketing, search, social media, and the Tintrí website
• Become a "product expert" in our industry, understand the hot issues and new developments in storage technology, and create an associated content distribution roadmap, working with the Product Marketing team to develop relevant campaigns, content, and landing pages
• Manage and execute content distribution, marketing, and nurturing efforts via third-party platforms and the Tintrí marketing automation platform, including HTML email creation and list segmentation
• Drive customer acquisition and meet expected lead targets through a keen understanding of the most relevant and engaging content needed during the awareness, consideration, and decision stages of a B2B sales cycle
• Develop best practices and recommendations for the distribution and syndication of Tintrí content to engage the widest target audience possible
• Employ a consistent best-practice approach to overall client communication, including marketing content and strategy, and providing effective feedback and solutions
• Identify and report on key performance indicators and opportunities for improvement on a regular basis
• Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation in content distribution, regularly sharing your knowledge with the marketing team and top executives
• Integrate strategies and recommendations into other active marketing channels such as Search (SEO) and Social Media
Knowledge & Skills
• Bachelor´s Degree required; Marketing Degree preferred
• 6-8 years post-undergraduate experience managing customer acquisition and content distribution strategies for technology companies
• Deep industry knowledge of email and search marketing to drive lead generation and a strong background in content creation for SEO and social media
• Exceptional copy writing and editorial skills
• Hands-on knowledge of best practices in B2B content syndication and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint
• Fundamental knowledge and experience with web analytical tools and interfaces, i.e. Google Analytics is required
• Experience with marketing automation/ESP platforms and landing pages creation preferred
• Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results
• A self-motivated individual; a good team player; someone who takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work
• Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated proficiency in oral, writing and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting
• Successful track record working in a team environment
