Position Summary
As the Product Marketing Manager/Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Siebel product line business, you will partner closely with Service Delivery, Demand Generation and Marketing Communications teams to drive messaging and positioning for Rimini Street Siebel Support offerings, conceive and support new and innovative marketing programs and enable sales and customer care teams with world-class tools and messaging to articulate the value of Rimini Street Services overall.
Working with senior marketing and sales leaders as well as industry analysts and press, you will play a key role in evangelizing Rimini Street Support for Siebel as well as executing sales and marketing programs to meet revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Product Marketing Manager/Senior Product Marketing Manager will focus a majority of his/her time on messaging and positioning, demand generation, sales enablement and customer retention marketing.
•Messaging and Positioning: Develop service messaging and positioning for Siebel products, industry and role that differentiates Rimini Street Support in the market
•Demand Generation – Develop campaign strategy and themes, create compelling content, and guide marketing programs to drive demand for Rimini Street Support Services for Siebel
•Sales Enablement –Communicate and train the sales team on the value proposition of Rimini Street Siebel Support through world class sales tools, competitive and market intelligence to support every stage of the selling process
•Customer Care and Success- Develop messaging, high quality content and marketing campaigns to support and drive customer retention efforts including identifying key engagements and developing customer success stories.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
•Excellent communication and persuasion skills- able to convincingly sell ideas and plans to internal constituencies, executives, prospects, sales team and analysts.
•Self- sufficiency- Identify solutions and strategic direction in spite of high degrees of ambiguity and uncertainty.
•Multi tasking and agility- Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully execute projects under a heavy workload and changing conditions is critical
In addition to the stated responsibilities, the Product Marketing Manager/Senior Product Marketing Manager is expected to be a team player willing to take on key marketing tasks and projects that will contribute to Rimini Street's success.
Minimal Qualifications
Top candidates will be well-versed and experienced in marketing service-oriented solutions, not just products. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to define, prioritize, and execute the right set of product marketing objectives to help grow demand for our industry leading services.
Qualified candidates will possess:
•Minimum 6-8+ years of enterprise software experience in core product marketing roles. Siebel marketing or CRM marketing experience is highly desirable
•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
•Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for quality work
•Strength in working with varied groups including executive management, operations, and marketing teams
•Quick learner and must be able to respond to a variety of sales and marketing inquiries with tight deadlines
•Ability to easily interact with a demanding group of sales and marketing team members, appropriately juggling requests from different individuals
•Demonstrate high level of energy/self starter
Education
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
Experience
Minimum 6-8 + years of successful experience in marketing or product management within leading technology companies in the CRM industry. Siebel experience highly desirable.
Skills
•Experience in developing Go-To-Market strategies (solution and services definition, packaging, pricing and positioning) for leading technology, services or CRM companies is required
•Excellent communication and presentation skills- able to represent marketing plans and strategic priorities to senior executives, sales, customers, top prospects, analysts and press
•Excellent relationship building skills- Ability to work across the entire organization with senior leaders to build consensus on product marketing priorities is a must. Must be able to develop and sustain relationships with key influencers, customers, top prospects and analysts
•Thought leadership skills- Must be able to demonstrate new points of views to the business and industry and set the intellectual direction for marketing Rimini Street Siebel services.
