Cloud Solution Portfolio Messaging Manager (Bay Area, CA)
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager for an opportunity at an innovation cloud solution provider, based in Palo Alto, CA. The cloud solutions offered vary from big data/analytics, PaaS solutions, and development solutions. This is an outbound product marketing role focused on the development of portfolio messaging and frameworks, and solution specific messaging.
This is an ideal role for a senior product marketing professional who has prior experience managing product marketing activities across a diverse solution portfolio.
This is a 2 to 3 months, 30 to 40 hours per week project, as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Must be available for meetings in San Francisco, CA and Palo Alto, CA. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities:
Lead and work with internal team to develop broad based, integrated portfolio messaging with connection points to individual solution messaging
Learn client solutions, target markets, buyers, and competition
Gather internal information from a variety of stakeholder interviews and augment with secondary research, if needed
Develop high level message map for portfolio and individual solutions
Lead a workshop with internal stakeholders to discuss findings and high level message map
Validate messaging with target customers, partners, industry analysts
Finalize message maps and build out proof points, differentiators
Requirements:
10+ years experience in Product Marketing in B2B Cloud or enterprise software solutions
Experience managing segmented markets with multiple product offerings, conducting and analyzing market and competitive research
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills; can simplify complex ideas and concepts; highly effective presentation skills
Strategic thinker with strong execution
Ability to work across organizational lines, influence without authority
Strong results orientation in dynamic, high growth, fast paced environments with proven track record of delivering on projects with tight deadline and cross-functional dependencies
BS/BA required, Masters preferred
