We are looking for a Copy Editor and writer for contract role at a company in Petaluma, CA. The copy editor/writer will be responsible for copy editing web content, press releases, customer success stories and presentations. Additionally, some writing of these content elements will also be required. Prior experience with AP style and B2B high tech solutions is required.
This is a 40 hours per week, 6 month project (with possible extensions) onsite at the client's offices in Petaluma, CA. There is flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities:
� Copy edit web content, press releases, customer success stories and presentations. Ensure accuracy, polish and alignment with company branding/style guidelines
� Write web content, press releases, customer success stories and presentations, when requested.
� Meet tight deadlines and work within changing priorities
Requirements:
� 5+ years of copy editing and writing experience for B2B high technology companies
� Experience writing/editing in AP Style
� Excellent project management skills
� Exceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment; flexible in meeting deadlines and urgent requests
� Proficient in Microsoft word and powerpoint
� Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
