Job Description:
WideOrbit is looking for a strong, motivated Product Marketing Director to take on the company's first product marketing role and establish a product marketing team. This will be a high profile position in the company with opportunity to make an immediate and direct impact. The Product Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for its suite of business management solutions for Media companies, building compelling messaging, defining the target markets, positioning the products and leading product launches. This individual will partner with Corporate Marketing to develop and execute integrated marketing plans to drive sales, create product and industry messaging for outbound communications and campaigns, and develop sales tools. This strategic role will report to the head of Corporate Marketing and work closely with product managers to influence the overall product line strategy through market and industry analysis, customer interactions and technical knowledge.
What you'll do:
� Establish, hire and lead the product marketing team
� Plan and execute go-to-market strategies and initiatives to drive sales and awareness for WideOrbit's extended product line
� Partner with product managers to establish and drive product road maps
� Lead cross-functional teams to execute timely product launches and initiatives
� Develop compelling and targeted key messages and value propositions
� Work with product managers to drive product direction by providing customer and market intelligence
� Collaborate with Corporate Marketing and Sales to develop and execute programs to drive sales
� Develop content for marketing materials and sales tools, including presentations, whitepapers, product brochures and briefs
� Work with Corporate Marketing and PR to develop messaging and materials for press and analysts
� Be the authority on the competitive landscape and industry trends, sharing and utilizing findings accordingly
� Be the expert and evangelist for the extended product line
Here's what we're looking for in a candidate:
� You are an experienced product marketing professional who has led product marketing teams and who excels in innovative thinking, strategic marketing planning and impeccable execution
� You have a solid and relevant technical background with strong analytical skills
� 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in enterprise software applications
� Superior written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills
� Demonstrated excellence in product marketing disciplines and cross-functional team leadership
� BA/BS degree required
� Knowledge of Media and broadcast television industries or Digital advertising technology a plus
� Experience in high-growth, fast-paced technology company preferred

This position is based in San Francisco at our Levi's Plaza headquarters.
