Technical Marketing Specialist
Fremont, CA
This position is responsible to identify market and technology trends for pressure sensitive adhesives, tapes, films products in the U.S. A large part of the position is to create area niche top by identifying and developing specific applications with new technology in a new market segment by assessing and verifying the potential market and the opportunity from the perspective of fit for company's core competencies.
Although not required, Bilingual English/Japanese preferred.
This position reports to the Business Development Manager.
Annual base salary is $85K - $90K with annual car allowance of $7,200 with annual bonus plan potential of 20$ of base salary.
Requires Bachelor's degree, a degree in Marketing Research preferred. Requires 3 or more years of experience in sales and marketing of technical products; or, equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in international business (trading) is helpful.
Requires the ability to understand and communicate technical issues and influence others through negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in Windows computer environment including: spreadsheet, database management, and presentation software.
The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills to interface with many levels of an organization including executive management.
