Corcept Therapeutics Incorporated (www.corcept.com), located in Menlo Park, California is a leader in the discovery and development of drugs that regulate the effects of cortisol. Corcept has launched Korlym, the first FDA approved medication for use in patients with Cushing's syndrome. The Senior Product Manager, Marketing will lead the strategic and tactical marketing responsibilities for Korlym for Cushing's syndrome indication. This position will focus on the medical professional community. You will become an expert on Cushing's syndrome, treatment options, and the medical community that treats these patients. Through marketing efforts this expertise will be used ensure that Korlym reaches maximum potential for use in the Cushing's syndrome market.
Responsibilities:
� Manage the execution of the product marketing strategy to ensure that product objectives are met
� Seek input from various sources (i.e. market research, field organization, managed markets) to arrive at customer insights
� Monitor strategy against objectives and adjust course as necessary
� Manage and implement all HCP programs including peer-to-peer interactions, advisory boards and direct-to-physician communications
� Provide brand direction and tools to the field
� Influence cross functional team members in order to drive tactical execution of marketing strategies to ensure product goals are met, corporate objectives are met, and that internal and external processes are followed
� Coordinate and communicate cross-functionally with training, managed care, market research, clinical science, medical affairs, regulatory, etc. to ensure alignment and support of the product strategy
� Align on strategic decisions and tactical execution
� Manage within the promotional marketing budget to ensure that spending is built, gaited appropriately, and managed effectively, and that budget is not exceeded
� Ensures that all marketing activities are in compliance with medical, regulatory and legal requirements
Requirements:
� Bachelor���s Degree or Equivalent, Master's degree preferred
� 10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience, with the majority of those years in marketing or a related commercial function
� 7+ years healthcare marketing experience
� Past lead responsibility for KOL management/advocacy
� Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence
� Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
� Strong planning and project management skills
� Demonstrated consistent track record of success and delivering strong sales results
� Strong scientific/medical aptitude and experience
� Demonstrated success in project, vendor, and budget management
� Experience in the Endocrinology therapeutic area and HCP digital communications preferred
