Senior Accounts Manager/ Marketing Manager
Language Translation Localization

Our client is a thriving 12-person agency in Palo Alto that provides language translation, localization and interpreting services to their clients in the Silicon Valley and beyond.
The Senior Accounts Manager will manage the daily operations for translation, localization and interpreting projects which includes negotiating project specifications and requirements with the clients. Manage the day to day business operations for translation, localization, and interpreting projects; determine and implement work allocation, scheduling and job trafficking, budgeting, ordering, and cost management. Oversee the project managers and junior accounts managers in management and organization of project files, terms lists, and translation memories while exercising quality control including editing, rewriting, proofreading and desktop publishing.
This position is also the Marketing Manager for the agency and is responsible to coordinate marketing and promotional activities, including creating, updating and maintaining the website and presentation and promotional materials.
Additionally, the Accounts Manager/Marketing Managing will build and manage the resources database for language professionals, including locating translators, localizers, and interpreters, responding to applicants, and sending translation tests to qualified candidates.
Skills/Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; MA/MS degree preferred
Proficiency in one or more European languages
At least 5 years prior industry experience in translation, publications, localization, or related services
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) This position reports directly to the President
Compensation: Base salary $75k - $85k. Health care benefits and 401K.
