Market Research Analyst
We are seeking a Market Research Analyst for our Fortune 100 client who is the global leader in the networking and communications arena. You will work within the Employee Engagement team with their Inclusion and Diversity initiatives concerning gender, generation and ethnicity. The first initiative will focus on gender strategy. The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for researching and analyzing the external market and competitive landscape with regard to other companies' gender strategy, in particular the opportunities and representation of women in business. The research results will be utilized in our client's multi- year strategy planning.
Duties and responsibilities:
� Research external market through web based sources (i.e. diversityinc.com, etc.) on topics such as:
Sourcing and hiring of women
Opportunities in the workplace for women
Employee benefits
Compensation for women in leadership positions
� Research and analyze trends in the competitive workplace
� Develop actionable insights from research and datasets
� Collect market intelligence best practices to leverage where possible into the company gender strategy for practice and ensure that locally developed analysis and data has the opportunity to be leveraged globally.
� Support Global campaign planning and targeting activities for the initiative
� Partner with analysts in geographies, divisions or other corporate functions to bring the necessary support and market research results to the forefront and provide knowledge transfer in support of the initiative.
� Increase awareness of available sources intelligence tools, capabilities and practices.
� Report research findings on a weekly basis and present a finalized formal report with findings, conclusions, and proposals in support of the gender strategy initiative.
Skills and Requirements:
� Skilled and efficient researcher
� Excellent analytical skills
� Thought leader with the ability to think outside of the box and make business connections to their research
� Appreciation for innovation and the collaboration of technologies to drive success
� Initiation
� Excellent communication skills, particularly presentation skills
� Confident to communicate at all levels
� Appreciation and understanding of inclusion and diversity as a business imperative � experience in I&D work an advantage
Education
Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
