[KITlist] Product Manager - Retail, Payments, Web & Mobile Apps (San Francisco, CA)

Our client's ideal Product Manager is part business and consumer lead, part designer, and part developer. You have a background in retail, or payment systems, or apps for web and mobile devices. This is a full-time position in San Francisco.

Primary Responsibilities:

Define and visualize product requirements starting with strong understanding of the end users.
Design user requirements, mobile app, and web experiences.
Research user behaviors and strategize roadmaps that will enhance the web experiences.
Work closely with our analytics team to identify which mobile applications are essential to produce.
Manage the design team to ensure delightful aesthetics and user experiences.
Lead discovery and definition of digital products that are desirable, usable, and feasible.
Empathic in your interactions with customers/clients challenges, behaviors, and attitudes.
Work intimately with developers to refine and build product and features.
Identify and analyze metrics in order to track the success of the product.
Leverage quantitative data and qualitative research to identify product opportunities that optimize critical growth flows and user paths for performance management/improvement.
Deliver MRDs PRDs with prioritized features while corresponding rationale.
Oversee the product management tool, JIRA.
Utilize business requirements and objectives to identify the business and operational requirements.
Work with external vendors to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
Run beta and pilot programs.
Develop cogent points-of-view on emerging technologies and competitive products.
Communicate and advocate product benefits and findings to stakeholders.

Requirements:

Five plus years of work experience with digital product management especially on mobile.
Two plus years of work experience with managing a digital product from inception to launch.
Robust leadership skills; people respect you and want to follow your lead.
Strong organizational, written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Comfortable working with high level decision makers, including senior executives.
Enjoy collaborating with designers and developers.
Incredible problem solving skills.
Strong user/customer orientation.
Agile experience.
Prior experience working with retail and/or consumer sites / applications.
University degree in business studies or related field.
Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment; preferably startup large company environments.
Passion for web mobile software products.
