Job Description:
As PR Manager, you will help WideOrbit build visibility in technology and business press. WideOrbit is rapidly growing and expanding into new markets, and has historically had a very low profile, so we're looking for someone that can drive industry and media coverage highlighting WideOrbit's amazing innovation and technology. The right person for the job will create and drive a comprehensive PR and AR strategy leaning on your existing relationships in the high tech sector. With tremendous charisma, you will build relationships with key journalists and influencers to drive awareness and communication of WideOrbit's solutions and successes. In addition, you will continue to grow relationships with our current industry media and cultivate relationships in WideOrbit's emerging areas of focus, including digital ad tech, video and mobile.

What you'll do:

� Develop and execute PR and AR strategy to increase WideOrbit's visibility and profile and drive media coverage in the technology sector
� Build, maintain and execute PR and AR strategy to grow current media relationships and increase media coverage in Media and Broadcast television industries, digital ad tech, video and mobile
� Drive creation of proactive editorial pitches
� Secure speaking engagements at key industry conferences and events for company executives and assist in the creation of presentation materials
� Write core messaging documents, press releases, award and speaking submissions, media briefings
� Collaborate with Marketing and Sales in the development of product and industry brochures, sales presentations and other sales tools to ensure cohesive messaging across corporate and product content
� Develop corporate presentations for investors, press, analysts
� Spearhead the development of a PR strategy for driving awareness and visibility using a corporate blog and Social Media outlets
� Develop customer success stories, quotes and testimonials
� Build and maintain internal media contact list and manage distribution vendors
� Track and report on all media coverage and PR activities

Here's what we're looking for in a candidate:

� 5+ years of public relations experience at an enterprise technology PR firm or in-house PR department
� Established media and analyst relationships in the technology sector with solid contacts, digital ad tech a plus
� Demonstrated excellence in developing and executing PR and AR strategies that produce measurable results
� Superior verbal and written communication skills with outstanding attention to detail
� Ability to work independently, with senior executives and across multiple teams
� Hands-on knowledge of all PR processes and developing and pitching stories is your forte
� BA/BS degree or higher required, emphasis in communication, journalism, PR or marketing preferred
� Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced technology company and working with companies through an initial public offering a plus
� Knowledge of Media and broadcast industries

Other qualifications you should have:
� Bachelor's degree required, an emphasis in communications, journalism, PR or marketing preferred
� 8+ years as a PR exec focused on the tech sector with a strong contact base
� Experience in high-growth, fast-paced technology company a plus
� Knowledge of Media and broadcast television industries or Digital advertising technology a plus

� This position is based in San Francisco at our Levi's Plaza headquarters
