Job Description:
WideOrbit is looking for a senior revenue professional to help lead the revenue team in the full software billing cycle of our broadcast and media clients. The Sr Revenue Accountant will also help streamline processes as we continue to grow at meteor pace and is responsible for planning and coordinating the integration and automation of internal financial and operational systems. We are looking for someone that has a thirst for details and numbers and is flexible and adaptable to change.

Here's what you'll be doing:
� Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and interpreting our software contracts.
� Prepare customer invoices and statements.
� Enhance and document policies, procedures and controls.
� Coordinate with other departments during the project lifecycle to ensure accurate, timely billing.
� Ensure proper revenue recognition for a variety of different product lines.
� Analyze billing variances and investigate/resolve significant variances.
� Assist in month end close process
� Resolve customer and employee inquiries on a timely basis.
� Assess credit worthiness of the client and handle accordingly. Approve credit and shipment authorizations.
� Other duties, projects and analysis as assigned by Controller.

Here's what we're looking for:
� Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent discipline.
� Minimum of 5+ years revenue accounting experience.
� Experience with contracts, invoicing, billings and revenue recognition
� Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional areas and with customers.
� Strong Excel skills
� Familiarity with MAS500 and Salesforce.com a plus
� Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to describe detailed issues and resolutions.
� Must be extremely organized and possess strong analytical skills.

Location:
This position will be based in our San Francisco office.
