Director, Solution Marketing Contract Lifecycle Management

Responsibilities

The Director of Solution Marketing, CLM will be responsible for helping to define product strategy, crafting product messaging and positioning, developing competitive intelligence and competitive positioning. You will work with the Marketing team to conceive, develop, and execute innovative marketing programs that drive demand. The ability to grasp and translate functional capabilities into business value benefits is crucial. In your role as a Director of Solution Marketing you will be the expert on the economic buyers: how they buy, their buying criteria, the competitive alternatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with sales in individual deals and significant experience with leveraged sales enablement programs.

Primary Responsibilities Include

Thought Leadership

o Work with the Product team to help define and prioritize the product vision and roadmap

o Develop product positioning, messaging, product synergies, and thinking regarding market trends and innovation that provides product differentiation in the market

o Develop market intelligence by being the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition

Content

o Provide the Marketing team with the content for core marketing materials including data sheets, case studies, competitive analysis, website and various demand generation programs

Sales Enablement

o Communicate the value proposition to the sales team

o Develop the sales tools that support the selling process including working with Sales Engineering Team to develop product demonstrations and scripts which highlight your products competitive strengths and expose the competition's weaknesses

Demand generation

o Work with Marketing to develop the strategy and deliver the marketing programs that drive demand for your products

Deal support

o Become a trusted resource to engage in field sales, helping Account Executives win business

o Work with Business Development Representatives on demand generation material and talk tracks to discover and qualify new opportunities

Public relations/Analyst Relations

o Take point on requests for support from the Analyst Relations team for briefings and reports

Product launch

o Work with the New Product Introduction Team to plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

Packaging and pricing

o Work with the Executive team to analyze and deliver competitive packaging and pricing strategies

Required Skills/Experience

• Seven years of product marketing or similar experience

• Track record of driving sales results through effective execution of sales support and sales enablement

• Ability to lead cross-functional technical and non-technical resources to achieve goals

• Domain knowledge of the CLM market

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High energy, charismatic, innovative, creative

• BS degree required
