Position Summary
The Marketing Manager will deploy the global marketing strategy in line with the business objectives in the EMEA region (focusing on France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland). He/she will assume the responsibility for brand management and corporate identity in the region, generate interest, drive sales leads and accelerate existing opportunities.
The EMEA Marketing Manager will work closely with the corporate marketing team and collaborate with the EMEA team to roll out corporate campaigns in the focus countries as well as strategize and execute field-marketing programs. This position will participate in multi-function teams and report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager for EMEA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The selected candidate must be self-directed, collaborate well with colleagues, have initiative and critical thinking skills, dive into the details to get things done, and have a can do attitude, with the ability to manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously. Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Manage marketing for the region, with a focus on DACH and France
- Drive and implement the optimal mix of marketing programs; identify the most effective messaging, value proposition, channels and calls to action
- Work closely with corporate PR team and local PR agencies to coordinate media and analyst activities
- Manage and execute all logistics for marketing events and conferences in the region.
- Strategize, plan and execute field marketing programs such as RSI executive briefings, seminars, client/prospect dinners, live webinars.
- Collaborate with corporate marketing teams to roll out campaigns and lead nurturing for the region
- Source and manage local vendors for marketing program execution including direct mail
- Manage regional user groups/association relations and program deliverables
- Provide guidance on marketing messages and material, website, campaign concept and creative development to ensure effectiveness for the region
- Facilitate and track lead distribution and follow up activities with the Lead Gen and sales teams
- Track campaigns and report metrics as well as overall ROI to the internal stakeholders
- Manage project timelines, quality issues, resources, SOW (scope of work) / budget.
- Monitor and report effectiveness of marketing communications
Additional Duties and responsibilities
- Research list vendors and resources for building target accounts and contacts
- Understand and collaborate on marketing automation technologies across the entire lead nurturing process
- Build client relationship and support client marketing effort to improve retention and upsell, as well as leverage in prospecting programs

Experience
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with 5+ years of technology marketing.
- Direct experience in marketing campaign management strongly preferred, with a prior experience of working in the German market
Skills
- Fluent in German
- Experience in IT Industry in DACH region
- Highly self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a team environment
- Tenacious problem solver with a strong work ethic, sense of urgency and desire to succeed. Strong drive to action and results orientation
- Creative marketer with strong written, editing and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail with an ability to meet tight timelines while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to work with varied groups including executive management, customers, media, and internal teams
- Demonstrated lead generation results that translated into sales revenue
- Ability to multi-task and produce results in a start-up environment
- Understand how to leverage technology in marketing processes, including marketing automation, salesforce, Adobe creative suite, Microsoft office software, and similar tools
