Covisint is seeking a passionate technical marketer to join our growing product marketing team. This position is responsible for driving Covisint's global go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and technology messaging for our platform. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in successfully managing and executing in a technical product marketing and enablement function. In this role you will have responsibility for target segment identification, execution strategy – including establishing the relevant sales plays – and providing support through sales tools, training, demo scripts for the direct and channel sales teams, primarily the sales engineers and solution architects. You will be familiar with identity technology, platforms, cloud, big data and able to translate technology features in benefits and solutions stories. Core Responsibilities

Oversee and drive identity platform product marketing and enablement plans to support revenue objectives growing existing and acquiring new customers and channel partners.

Build and deliver technical platform sales tools across sales stages, including: developing technical product presentations, whitepapers, pricing models, technical product guides, product briefs and other tools, to enable sales teams to sell the Covisint platform effectively.

Lead development of platform demonstrations: designing, delivering and training the field and partners on value-based demonstrations, working in conjunction with sales engineering and product management.

Drive platform evangelism: evangelizing and demonstrating our platform at conferences, tradeshows, to analysts and customers.

Competitive intelligence: research and maintain technical and business competitive intelligence in key segments and markets.

Oversee and develop platform positioning: connecting market and technology trends with Covisint's technology to build positioning and messages for key use cases, solutions, and sales plays.

Oversee and manage platform launches: participating in launches to build technical and platform messaging, briefing analysts and press on Covisint's platform approach, developing collateral and sales tools and general support of the launch plan.

Enable partnerships: drive and support partnership-related platform enablement materials and technical product marketing activities.

Industry events: Attending tradeshows and other events to represent Covisint and showcase our platform approach.

Work closely with direct and channel sales teams to craft account-level marketing plans for top strategic accounts and partner relationships.

Understand complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers for software and solution purchases.

Ensure effective and efficient two-way communication between Covisint product marketing and sales teams.

Work cross-functionally across the marketing organization to oversee the timely execution of technical product marketing plans.


How You'll Stand Out:

10+ years related technical and product marketing experience in enterprise software marketing, PaaS, SaaS or related technology.

Experience in identity management, integration, and API technologies.

Experience managing the creation and execution of effective technical product marketing and enablement content for use across sales stages.

Demonstrate you are a technical marketing geek: Bring examples of demos, content, presentations you've created and talk about the results you've achieved.

Show you can hold conversations with both line of business executives and technical decision makers.

Strong understanding and use of marketing analytics to make informed decisions.

Outstanding communication skills including writing and content development.

Ability to work cross functionally across an organization.

Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proven experience communicating with all levels of management.

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a technology field preferred.
