Email Marketing Manager (Req ID 2016-2146)
Rimini Street, Inc., the world's leading independent provider of support for enterprise application software, seeks an Email Marketing Manager resident in our Pleasanton location.
Our company is currently privately held with plans to become a public company. Position Summary
As the Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for owning, developing and executing all of Rimini Street's B2B email marketing programs through our marketing automation tool. You are experienced, driven, and creative in your approach to acquisition and retention, with a strong track record of building ad hoc and nurture campaigns that recipients open and respond to.
You will work with various cross-functional and global teams to develop impactful emails that will help with our product roadmap and brand initatives. Please note that this is NOT a team management position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Owns the planning, design, layout and execution of all email marketing programs.
-Manage company email lists, by performing list pulls, list hygiene and segmentation.
-Works with cross functional teams and owns the planning, development and execution of the team's requests.
-Owns the planning, development and execution of Marketo improvement programs.
-Regularly optimize the design, content, targeting, and messaging of email marketing programs.
-Design modern responsive design email templates.
-Utilize aggressive testing to maximize campaign performance and isolated campaign-driver effectiveness.
-Proactively identify new and innovative opportunities to automate processes within campaigns.
-Prioritize projects, set expectations, formally document objectives and program plans, initiate and manage programs, and report progress regularly.
-Work with cross functional teams to establish efficient workflows and continuously improve implementation processes.
-Continually research and seek out more effective processes to improve overall programs and be able to effectively drive new initiatives successfully and efficiently through to conclusion.
-Regular A/B testing for audiences, content, and timing. For instance, every email we send contains Subject Line tests at minimum.
