Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a HR Operations/Recruiting Coordinator consultant to join our clients' growing team. The HR Operations/Recruiting Coordinator will drive the day to day administration of multiple programs that are critical to the staffing and onboarding functions of Human Resources. These include background checks, contingent workers as well as other screening and compliance programs. The Coordinator will monitor the program's service level agreements, provide a central point for issue resolution, maintain documentation toolkits and support regular audit and reporting requirements. The consultant will also assist with the building and implementation of new processes and programs that will help us scale and improve.
The ideal person will work effectively with internal and external contacts, possess great communication skills, and have the ability to shift gears at a moments' notice.
Responsibilities:
Monitor in-process background checks and manage employee and vendor response times to established service level agreements
Provide support to internal teams, respond to inquiries regarding background check processes and policies
Manage contingent worker onboarding requests, work closely with the hiring manager and vendor to ensure all required steps are completed prior to start
Respond to vendor questions, escalate issues internally or to vendor as required
Assist with the rollout of new tools and processes through the creation and delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and job aids
Develop deep expertise on the ATS and HRIS solution(s) utilized by our client
Produce daily and weekly background check reports, compile data in response to audits and certification requests
Qualifications:
2 years Human Resources operations/administration experience required, knowledge of the hiring process, background check and/or contingent worker processes a plus
Great organizational skills, able to track a high volume activity with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations , ability to serve multiple customers (vendors, hiring managers, recruiters)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in setting and managing expectations
Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when appropriate, solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
Proven analytical capabilities, comfortable working with large amounts of data and in developing metrics and reporting vehicles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required – Microsoft Project, Publisher or Visio a plus
Experience with recruiting processes and at least one enterprise ATS system preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent on the job work experience
RATE: D.O.E; as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
LOCATION: Fully onsite at clients' office in Pleasaanton, CA. No phone calls please.
