| In this position, the individual will be responsible for coordinating the demand signal reflective of both operational and company business goals. Partner closely with Business Unit functions, Finance, and Supply Chain teams in order to successfully execute against seasonal strategies as well as support strategic plans with key customers and in key categories. Drive demand planning processes with the OEM business group and seek out opportunities to drive best practices across the business unit and the company. Set goals, action plans, and key measurements that drive effective business results. Lead and influence both strategic and tactical demand planning and inventory management strategies in order to maximize revenue, maintain optimal inventory levels, and reduce costs. Partner closely with key functions to improve existing supply chain models. Provide high profile communication to the executive team. In addition, the individual will lead members of the OEM Demand Planning team through effective coaching and mentoring. This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent with a minimum 10 years work experience with at least 5 years in an inventory management, production planning, forecasting/buying or financial planning position. Advanced degree preferred. MS office experience including Excel spreadsheets and/or other spreadsheet programs. Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to resolve conflict and manage multiple priorities. Proficient financial skills and knowledge, including ability to optimize resources to create profitability. Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations. Ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience. Ability to elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner. Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources. Sound judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of policy and strategy. Strong understanding and application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as project/change management, idea creation, employee development, coaching and cross-team effectiveness. Demonstrated leadership in fostering continuous learning, empowerment, involvement, and opportunities. Ability to establish an independent view, effectively collaborate in decision-making, and motivate others. Experience in supply chain management including demand/supply planning, product creation, process and systems, operations and strategic planning preferred.
