Summary
The primary responsibility of the Partner Marketing Manager is to build and sustain strong go-to-market strategies with key Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners and hardware vendors, especially technical applications vendors in the commercial High Performance Computing (HPC) market.
Responsibilities
Develop partner program strategy to help drive Panasas sales efforts
Build an optimal portfolio of ISV partners
Drive & author application-oriented success stories, white papers and other marketing collateral highlighting the successful combination of one or more ISV applications with Panasas storage.
Work with Panasas Technical Marketing to prioritize ISV application benchmarking for use in performance white papers.
Conduct successful go-to-market programs working closely with the relevant partners and the Panasas sales force around specific HPC verticals and/or ISV applications.
Facilitate introduction of partner subject matter experts to Panasas account teams.
The Partner Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with Panasas Product Marketing, Technical
Marketing, Sales and external Partners the majority of the time.
Experience / Qualifications
8+ years experience in program management / product marketing
Experience developing and maintaining relationships with partners and alliances
Superior knowledge of high performance computing applications and ISVs idea!
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong project management and presentation skills
An autonomous self starter able to move forward with minimal direction
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Must be comfortable with MS office tools and internet
High-level knowledge of file systems, networking and switching architecture
High-level knowledge of high performance computing hardware and operating system infrastructure and architecture
Can travel 2-3 times per quarter for partner engagements, customer meetings, and events.
B.S. in a relevant technical field and/or M.B.A.
