The Leave Administration Program Manager will manage the internal leave administration process for Hewitt and manage the internal vendor providing service. The Leave Administration Program Manager will manage and provide administrative and relationship management for all internal Hewitt disability and leave of absence processes, including Worker's Compensation and Workplace Accommodations
This role will do the following:
oversee the delivery of leave administration services;
identify and make suggestions that will positively impact the efficiency and quality of service delivery including enhanced automation, streamlined processes and additional team measures and upgraded on-line reference tools;
establish and execute short and long-term visions for the Leave Administration strategy and delivery model;
establish a more common client-provider service delivery model, including escalations, reporting, process improvement, and communication to the business and the internal processing unit;
respond to company inquiries regarding Leave Administration services;
develop consistent, timely, and accurate reporting of leave of absence requests, expense distribution, payroll tax deductions; and
ensure compliance reviews of internal vendor to applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations.
Address complex and escalated cases to resolution/closure.
Due to the confidential nature of issues handled by the Leave Administration Program Manager, careful discretion must be used when collecting, discussing and documenting information. The Leave Administration Program Manager will be responsible for all governmental reporting requirements (DOL, OSHA, etc), as well as function as the point of contact for any auditing that may be required. The program manager is responsible for ensuring that the above services are delivered in a cost-effective manner that meets or exceeds expectations, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
US H&W Beneifts
The role is aligned to the US Benefits group. As such, this role will also participate in US Benefits team meetings and assignments as called upon.
Project management for key US Benefit issues and implementations
Help managing the Total Rewards Benefits Mailbox
US Benefits Wellness Program assignments as called upon.
Management of Aon Hewitt Long Term Disability Program vendor
Assist with Aon benefits integration planning and programming in 2011
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Human Resources or comparable field preferred.
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred
Extensive knowledge of leave management, processes, systems, and delivery models.
3 plus years of related human resources experience preferred
Six Sigma experience is desired
Individual must have the ability to interact with all levels of associates and management throughout the company.
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio is preferred
