[JimsJobs] Marketing Programs Specialist, SF Bay Area (East Bay), Ca.

 

This purpose of this role is to manage our clients partner club relationships for the marketing organization.  This person will manage a designated territory consisting of exchange partner clubs that currently reside in several states and Washington D.C.  The primary responsibility is to establish and maintain excellent business relationships with affiliates and internal executives and be a senior marketing advisor and liaison between the direct marketing organization and the affiliate club.  Additional responsibilities include direct marketing program sell in and campaign results reporting to partners, collaboration and strategic consulting on annual marketing plans designed to drive policy sales and revenue as well as budget management.
 
A strong marketing background is required.  The ideal person will have property and casualty insurance industry marketing experience.   This role will employ marketing principles by analyzing and interpreting data to make program improvements and will design and manage multi-channel marketing programs to meet business objectives.
 
Other key responsibilities include:
 
-         Collect, validate, and interpret data for marketing programs
-         Identify trends and findings to improve future performance
-         Work with internal and external business partners to develop multi-tiered marketing plans
-         Act as agency liaison
 
Some travel required.
 
Required:
Advanced and demonstrated knowledge of functional marketing principles, concepts, techniques and applications
6 - 7 years experience planning and implementing direct marketing and/or advertising programs
Ability to achieve business goals by applying strong judgment, creativity and technical know-how to program management
Ability to create and implement marketing programs that are aligned to Insurance Exchange strategy
Ability to analyze, interpret and/or compare multiple campaign results and trends to identify key learning
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Ability to create, present and deliver clear and compelling presentations in a group setting
Strong account management or affiliate marketing background with exemplary relationship skills in a BtB.
  
Preferred:
 
Ability to collaborate and influence internal and external business partners to resolve issues, gain needed information and influence outcomes
Manage larger budgets, for  multiple programs which are complex in nature
Knowledge of insurance business 
Experience in advertising agency in account or direct marketing capacity
 
Required:
 
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 6 - 7 years experience planning and implementing direct marketing and/or advertising programs
