We are an independent advertising agency seeking a Field Account Lead to join our fast-paced and growing account services team. This is a remote field marketing position in a home office reporting into the San Francisco Office.
We are looking for a mature and dedicated individual who is effective and satisfied spending time on the road immersed in our client's business and communities where they do business. You will be responsible for gathering in-depth knowledge of the markets and consumers in those markets that would be interested in purchasing our client's product. You ideally have experience in and/or a passion for the real estate market and new home building industry. You will be responsible for managing all the phases of a project's lifecycle—from project planning, creative development and production phases and proper delivery of final assets. Working as part of a dedicated Account Management team for a key client account, you will be actively involved in managing the expectations of the client, receiving client briefs and responding accurately and efficiently, managing multiple client deliverables from inception to completion on an ongoing basis.
This position reports directly to the Senior Account Director. You will Interface routinely with media, creative and production teams to ensure that projects stay on strategy, budget and schedule. You will be the face of the agency and marketing partner to the client as well as the local market expert to our creative and media teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed housing market analyses in several communities throughout Southern California
• Act as subject matter expert on the communities, the competition and media opportunities available in each market and share that expertise with the client and agency teams
• Serve as lead point of contact for regional Marketing Manager and VP-level clients, internal Creative, Media and Production teams as well as third-party stakeholders for all projects falling within your designated jurisdiction
• Conduct weekly in-person status meetings and monthly marketing planning meetings with the local clients – report out on the state of the competition and market dynamics each week as well as update on all in-progress media and creative assignments
• Prepare all project documentation, including daily work orders, timelines, weekly status reports, etc…
• Responsible for tracking all projects delivered on a monthly basis
• Participate in and lead jurisdiction portion of daily internal status meetings to ensure all projects are accounted for and executed on time
• Ability to proofread and QA all materials before final delivery to client or trafficked to appropriate third-party for implementation
• Effectively manage conflict negotiation and project escalation
NOTE: This position requires the ability to work from home and spend up to 75% of the time on the road traveling throughout all of Southern California in your own vehicle.
Knowledge/Skills
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a field marketing or sales role in Southern California
• Demonstrated experience conducting market analyses to include competitive reviews of products and marketing materials/messaging, community overviews, media opportunities and target profile development
• Experience with ROI analysis of local marketing initiatives
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• High levels of confidence and maturity required
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
• Strong project management skills with in-depth knowledge of project management tools, best practices and processes
• Proven organizational skills and relentless attention to detail
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Excellent command of using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Retail marketing and advertising agency experience desired
• Real estate or homebuilding industry experience preferred
