As the result of continued growth of our business Salesforce.com has an immediate opening for a Sr. Sourcing Partner with subject matter expertise in Software and Implementation Services categories; the position to be based in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities
• Create solid business relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
• Organize and lead business reviews with suppliers.
• Serve as commodity expert for assigned commodities.
• Conduct and manage request-for-proposal process.
• Negotiate pricing and other business terms with suppliers, conduct industry bench-marking of pricing, and make recommendations on programs to reduce supplier costs.
• Support internal customers by facilitating accurate and favorable transactions, and on-going supplier management and accountability.
• Assist as necessary with projects to improve and streamline the Procurement department's processes.

Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree from reputable 4-year university or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years of direct experience in procuring and managing Software and Implementation Services spend.
• Strong experience supporting our IT, R&D, and Technical Operations Organizations
• Experience within or working with top-tier companies.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

• Must make sound decisions and produce accurate and timely results.
• Must prioritize and organize work in a fast paced multi-task environment.
• Must accurately interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and management.
• Must demonstrate commitment to company values.
• Must be able to win support from customer based on skills, experience and collaboration.
