Application Consultant
Location: Dallas, TX
Our client delivers market leading Service Management solutions that automate business processes and provide first-class customer service.
Our client is looking for an experienced individual to undertake a solution delivery role called "Application Specialist". This is a dynamic and demanding role that will involve the configuration and deployment of the client's software solutions to customers, and will involve world-class consulting and after-sales support. This position offers a highly challenging and rewarding role, within a recognized, fast growing IT Service Management software vendor.
Responsibilities
• The Specialist's primary duty will be the successful implementation of the client's solutions to customers, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
• The Specialist would also be responsible for assisting with customer education, and resolving post-implementation issues.
• Travel within North America and Canada should be expected (approximately 30% to 50% of time)
• Full training and field based coaching will be provided at our Professional Services and Application Development Center in the UK.
Skills
• Able to establish sound relationships and achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of and skills in data manipulation using various forms of SQL, especially at Database Administrator level.
• Experience in scripting languages, especially PHP, JavaScript and HTML is desirable.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Qualification or experience in ITIL an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to work closely with customers to define solutions based on their business processes and requirements.

• Confident about conveying ideas and how to manage issues.
• Team player with a persuasive and dynamic approach.
• Able to manage multiple projects.
• Ideal candidate will be high energy.
Experience
• 3 years minimum experience in implementing ITSM management products and services.
• Ideally with experience of other IT Service Management applications such as BMC Remedy, HP Service Manager or Service-Now, etc.
