Are you an eCommerce professional that has a successful track record in pushing projects through a matrixed environment? If so, this may be the ideal opportunity for you. We are currently seeking an eCommerce Product Specialist that will be considered the subject matter expert for a multi-billion dollars website that is destined to become the number one site within the travel industry. The specialist will be responsible for establishing and implementing both strategic and tactical enhancements to the site's self-service products. The specialist will also work closely with several internal teams to ensure that the enhancements of the site-wide products are integrated where applicable through other products and channels. You must be a self-starter with excellent communications skills to clearly define objectives and the ability to make things happen.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain competitive information & analysis to determine areas where the site needs to improve or has competitive advantage, in an effort to become and remain a world-class, industry leading travel site
Create business requirements for new product improvements to the ecommerce portal
Oversee IT project management of new projects to deliver high quality products that meet business objectives
Implement self-service solutions that shift manual transactions to the web
Implement solutions that generate new revenue streams or shift existing revenue streams to self-service
Qualifications
BA preferred
A minimum of 2 years working in on eCommerce or self-service portals
Marketing and Analytical experience in travel, loyalty or retail industries
Experience utilizing Omniture and TeaLeaf would be a major plus
Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment, delivering results on time and on budget
Strong leadership, written & oral communications skills along with a positive attitude and the ability to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment
